Are you interested in performance measures that tell you how Hampton Roads is doing as a region in the areas of Economy, Education, Health and Family, Public Safety, Natural Resources, Transportation, and Government and Citizens?

SmartRegion.org will be used for updates to the website www.HamptonRoadsPerforms.org, launched in early February 2009, as the region’s central location to measure progress related to quality of life.

April 09:

Hampton Roads Performs has made updates to the following measures for the following indicators:

Hampton Roads Scorecard:

  • High School Dropout goes to “Maintain” (trend is based on estimated data until there are enough data points under the new cohort method)
  • Solid Waste/Recycling goes to “Maintain”

June 09:

Hampton Roads Performs has made updates to the measures for the following indicators:

Hampton Roads Scorecard:

  • Unemployment changed to “Worsening”

Tools: need to take the Performance Information with you? Each page of the www.HamptonRoadsPerforms.org website has an easy Save-to-PDF feature in the TOOLs box on the left-hand sidebar.

Coming soon: an easy-to-use table to provide the source and update schedule for every measure on the site, organized by category and indicator. Updates occur as the source data becomes available.
