A Battle Group’s Homecoming

A look inside the April 17-18th 2009 return of the USS Theodore Roosevelt Battle Group courtesy of Cox Communications. Friends and families welcome home fathers/mothers, sons/daughters, brothers/sisters. Sailors struggle to describe their joy at being reunited with loved ones, or at meeting loved ones for the first time.
Homecomings – and departures – are a part of the community fabric that is Hampton Roads and make you appreciate the men and women of our armed forces all the more.
